Natural Citrus Thinner (no. 22) by BioShield is a general-purpose, transparent cleaner, thinner, and solvent for oil-based products. It is also a great replacement for petroleum-based mineral spirits and turpentine.  Natural Citrus Thinner is a natural product derived from the peels of citrus fruits and free of petroleum distillates, mineral spirit, and other synthetics.

This is the Natural Citrus Thinner (no. 22) by BioShield.  BioShield also offers Citrus Thinner (no. 23) which is lower cost but uses a low odor petroleum distillate as the primary solvent; we don't offer no. 23, but you can find it at other retailers.

Technical Qualities
Natural Citrus Thinner dissolves oil, grease, tar, gums, waxes, and resins and we most commonly sell it as a brush cleaner.  Use Natural Citrus Thinner to thin and clean up oil-based paints and finishes.  Also, great for cleaning print presses, machinery, tools, and other industrial equipment.  Comparable to turpentine, it is also pH neutral and will not have a long-term effect on oil paintings. 

It has a mild citrus fragrance and can work as a de-greaser in the kitchen and garage. Use Natural Citrus Thinner around the home for cleaning greasy kitchen stoves, bicycles, crayon marks, tar, glue, gum, wax, fresh oil paint, and oily stains.
