Deer Scram repels deer and rabbits by smell -- but not with a disagreeable odor. Deer Scram’s principal active ingredients take advantage of two internal defense mechanisms – both genetic and biological:

1) the fear and flight reactions that deer and rabbits employ to avoid predators; and 2) the fear of disease from dead kin. Deer Scram instills a fear factor – the fear of death -- in deer and rabbits.

They immediately leave or avoid treated areas. The ingrained fear is a lasting effect. Deer and rabbits do not get used to Deer Scram, as they do with other repellants. Use Deer Scram deer repellant to keep deer and rabbits away from landscapes and to prevent deer and rabbit foraging by following the application instructions.
