A sturdy musical instrument for children or professional bands, or a unique handicraft for display.

This natural percussion instrument is a dried calabash gourd with raffia seeds and shells.  Each is handmade and measures approximately 6-8" diameter and 10-13" length.

By Prescraft (the Presbyterian Handicraft Centre, in Cameroon), a nonprofit organization to benefit craftspeople. Men and women in Prescraft earn good income by producing traditional West African handicrafts. Presecraft employs nearly 800 artisans.
