Although the Multi-Purpose Primer from American Pride is safe and gentle enough to be listed in our No-VOC category, the manufacture lists the VOCs as less than 5 grams per liter. (Compare this to many conventional stain-blocking primers that can contain 150-300 grams per liter.)

This product can be used in occupied areas without typical odor complaints because of the very low odor during application and drying.
